Research Division is recruiting for:
TWO (2) FISHERIES
TECHNICIAN(S) II HR-10-156 involves work in the Idaho
Salmon Supplementation Studies Project and is located in
McCall, ID.
This full-time year round position will entail; installation
and maintenance of juvenile out-migrant traps and adult
video weirs, handling fish, marking fish, identifying and
tagging fish, entering field data
into a computer
database, conducting snorkel and redd
surveys, maintaining
field sites and equipment, supervising personnel, and other
related duties as assigned. Additional
position
requirements involve living at a remote field location for
eight (8) days per shift during the field season.
Requires two (2) years of college education (48 credits).
Three (3) years of relevant experience is equivalent
to one (1) year college. Requires one-year related
experience to project needs and six months leadership

valid driver’s license with the ability to be
insured under the

Fisheries

Management
Research Division is recruiting for:
FISHERIES TECHNICIAN
II HR-10-157 for the Johnson Creek Artificial
Propagation Enhancement Project located in McCall, ID.
This full-time year round position will supervise and
perform duties relating to the collection, compilation,
analysis, and written presentation of information pertaining
to the Fisheries Resource Program, and performance of
technical applications of field work that pertain to
fisheries.
Duties include installing and maintaining juvenile traps,
handling, marking, identifying, and tagging fish,
maintaining field sites and equipment, supervising
personnel, and other related duties as assigned.
This position requires living in a remote locations
for eight (8) days per shift (housing provided).
Requires two (2) to four (4) years
of college in a related field, one (1) year related
experience, and six (6) months supervisory experience; six
(6) years related experience may substitute for education
component (will accept a B.S.degree in lieu of experience).
Requires a valid driver’s license with the ability to be
insured under the Tribes policy.

Fisheries

Management
Research Division is recruiting for:
FISHERIES TECHNICIAN
III HR-10-158 full-time position.
Will assist with adult steelhead escapement status
monitoring in Joseph Creek, and adult salmon escapement
monitoring in the Secesh River. Responsibilities
include: installation, operation, and maintenance of the
resistance board weir in Joseph Creek, trapping of adult
steelhead, collection of biological information, PIT
tagging, redd counting, assisting with DIDSON sonar salmon
escapement monitoring, reading of sonar files and validation
files, and computer data entry and quality control.
Requires two (2) years of college education (48)
credits (B.S. degree
desired), three (3) years of fisheries experience at current
level of responsibility, and one (1) year of supervisory
experience.
Must possess the ability to supervise staff in the field,
work shift work in field, have
mechanical, construction and maintenance skills, have
demonstrated computer skills, and an ability to
cooperate and work with others. “Please include

insured under the Tribes policy.

(Grade 13)
The Education Dept./TERO program is recruiting for: TERO
DIRECTOR HR-10-159 responsible for overall staff
supervision, training, the Nez Perce Tribe Title IX code,
enforcement of employment regulations and law compliance,
policy development, and budgeting reporting.
Plans, organizes and implements the program; reports
progress to executive level management through reports and
conferences.
Requires a Bachelors Degree or progressive management
training equivalent to four (4) years of college education
in business, education, employment or related field.
Twelve (12) years management level related experience
may be substitute for education component requirement.
Three (3) years management level experienced required
with a Bachelor’s Degree; one year management level
experience with master’s Degree.
Requires a minimum five (5) years experience in TERO
or related program.
Experience or knowledge of TERO laws and regulations;
tribal employment law; tribal policies and procedures
required. One
year supervisory experience required. “Please provide
cover letter.”
Requires a valid driver’s license with the ability to be
insured under the Tribe’s Policy.
